The Association of Pleasanton Teachers represents nearly 800 educators including teachers, psychologists, speech pathologists, counselors, and other certificated personnel in the Pleasanton Unified School District.  Affiliated with the 325,000 member California Teachers Association (CTA) and the 3.2 million-member National Education Association (NEA), APT exists with the goal of improving members' working conditions and student learning conditions.

We are a member-driven, student-centered group promoting professionalism and innovation amongst our membership.  We seek to be collaborative participants in the Pleasanton Unified School District while building a positive, integral relationship with the community at large.
